Saturday, November 15, we will celebrate a great year for Westbury Community Garden. Ownership of our 7-acre site has been transferred to the City of Houston and Westbury Community Garden’s future is secure!
Join WCG gardeners, city officials and partner organizations in celebrating the saving of WCG for land for years to come.
There will be garden tours, games for kids, a scarecrow contest, educational booths and free bluebonnet seedlings for the first 40 guests. There will also be a delicious vegetarian potluck. Bring a dish to share and a re-usable plate, cup and utensils.
Come out and have lunch, learn all about Westbury Community Garden and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with us!
