Come to the garden for WCG’s 1st Annual Tomato Tasting Party
What is it? We’ll have twenty or more varieties of organic heirloom and hybrid tomatoes for tasting. Big tomatoes, small tomatoes, red, pink, orange, yellow and purple tomatoes. There will be crackers and flat breads to munch between bites of tomato.
Fill out your scorecard and decide which are your favorites. After everyone has tasted, the names and details of each tomato will be revealed. You’ll have notes for planting time next year.
What does it cost? A $5 (suggested) donation to Westbury Community Garden gets you a tomato sticker and a score card. You must have a sticker and scorecard to taste!
WCG Gardeners — Donate a plate of tomatoes along with the documentation of your variety and get a scorecard and free admission to taste them all. Please pledge your tomato donation by May 31 so we have time to prepare materials.

This event is limited to 60 participants.
This is a fundraising event. All proceeds from this event benefit the Westbury Community Garden capital campaign to purchase the 7-acre garden property.
