Nicholas Zarabas arranged for 4 additional of his high school friends from Village School & School of the Woods to volunteer at WCG on Saturday, 3-13-21 afternoon.
They helped me immensely with final preparation of the new Apiary Pollinator Bed readied for planting, some weeding & pruning in the front Butterfly Beds & the B1 WCG Pollinator bed, transplanting Wayne Slaikeu’s carefully tended Texas Bluebonnets into the BF Beds & helping Julie Fordes remove unwanted Malabar Spinach 🤬from the D2 Medicinal Herb bed.
This is a great group of high schoolers, anxious to learn about nature, organic veggies & work in excellent weather at our beautiful Garden. And they pledge to return!
Thank you all Nicholas ! We Love our WCG Volunteers🥰🥰
