Up at the crack of dawn, the team has the booth ready by 8 AM.
Westbury Community Garden will participate in the Westbury White Elephant Sale this spring as a fundraiser for the garden. If you have items you might want to donate for sale, please let Marcia or Virginia know.
Remember: if they sell, the money goes to the garden. If they don’t sell, you get ’em back or they go to Goodwill! We had very good results last fall, even though it was our first time, thanks to the hard work of a few dedicated folks. We hope to repeat our success!
Parking for this event is available at St. John’s Presbyterian (5020 W. Bellfort).
At 8 AM sharp, the shoppers are let in.
Kids and adult clothes, toys, books, household items, electronics, yard and garden equipment and lots of plants sold like hotcakes.
The fundraising event was a big success. Thanks to everyone for your donations!
