Join us for a cooking class that features the heat-loving end of summer vegetables – sweet potatoes, okra, eggplant, basil and roselle.
The 10:00 AM class will teach a sweet potato dish, an herby salad dressing, and a recipe featuring the bright red, tart roselle calyces as a cranberry substitute! We also have a sweet potato taste test that will compare several orange-fleshed potatoes, plus gold, and purple ones. Which will you grow next year?
The class is followed by a potluck. Bring one of the featured veggies or any favorite dish to share.
