This will be the debut of our QR-code enabled signs project. We’ll have a scavenger hunt game where you’ll find the answers to trivia questions on veggie ID signs throughout the garden. Scan the QR code with your phone or iPad to get to expanded information about each vegetable, how to grow it, how to cook it, and more.
The 5 featured veggies are those that like the summer heat — eggplant, okra, sweet potatoes (both the greens and the tubers), peppers and basil. We’ll have some displays, a tasting menu and prizes. Lot’s of fun for the whole family!
Get the Fall Planting Guide and pick up your fall seed packet. We have 33 veggies/herbs/flowers this year for $15 plus we have 2016 bargain bags of 19 seeds for $5).
