The Purple Martin Conservation Association’s Pennsylvania webcam gives our WCG Purple Martin Landlord Team and our gardeners a window into what happens in our four WCG Purple Martin (PM) houses as well.
These amazing, native, migrating American birds that we provide for in a small way, reward us with spring to late summer songs. We enjoy their antics as they try to fight off their enemies (European House Sparrows, European Starlings and Hawks, plus juvenile male PMs) and enjoy watching them teach their fledglings.
They leave us “en mass” in late summer to mob together at The Fountains shopping center treeline in Stafford (an amazing sight to see at sundown!), then they’re all off to South America for the winter.
