Each year, from November 15 through December 15, Westbury Community Garden takes part in the #SeedMoneyChallenge. SeedMoney is a worldwide crowdsourcing platform specifically for non-profit gardens and farms.
When you donate to WCG through SeedMoney, 100% of the funds go to our community garden. On top of that, the SeedMoney folks offer grants for gardens that work hard to raise funds as the 30-day Challenge moves along.
We were pleased to earn the $100 Strong Start Bonus because we landed in 10th place among 636 gardens. There are other incentives and bonuses as we move toward December 15. Will WCG earn $1000 for being the top garden earner? Only time will tell.
