Wild flowers are blooming in the Westbury Pocket Prairie!
Join us for a walk through our naturalized 2 acre pocket prairie at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 2. We’ll meet on Greencraig at the south end of the property.
Bring your cameras and you may want to wear boots. The area drains well but the grass may be wet. Noreen and Hazel will help you find and identify wildflowers. We certainly think we will see new wildflowers that were not in bloom last week.
We use the books Wild Flowers of Houston by John and Gloria Tveten and Wildflowers of Texas by Geyata Agilvsgi.
