Join us on the Saturday before Easter for a fun class on using natural materials to dye Easter eggs!
Each participant may bring 6 hard-boiled eggs to decorate and dye in the class. Instructors will provide at least 12 dyes prepared from vegetables, herbs, flowers and spices. This is a casual open-house type class. Natural dyes are not super-fast, so allow at least one hour for best results.
We’ll try leaf imprints and other decorative techniques.
Kids, be sure to wear old clothes or bring a smock or apron.
This class is offered for a donation to Westbury Community Garden. (Suggested donation: $5 – $10 per person or per half dozen eggs.)
