Council Member Larry Green has partnered with Trees For Houston, The Brays Oaks Management District, CenterPoint Energy and Keep Houston Beautiful to plant 50 15-gallon trees along the esplanades within the Brays Oaks and Westbury communities. This is part of the Klean It UP, Green It Up initiative.
Mayor Sylvester Turner will be there to kick off the event!
Volunteers are welcome to plant trees along the esplanades. Gloves, shovels and safety vests will be provided.
Volunteers need to RSVP. Contact Katherine Bravo at katherine@treesforhouston.org.
Light breakfast refreshments will be served.
