Gardeners from WCG and Fonmeadow Community Garden along with some outside volunteers are joining forces to help Foerster Elementary School get ready for the new school year.

Projects include

  • clearing the two small raised beds and adding new soil and amendments
  • weeding, trimming bushes and mulching the front entryway
  • replacing flowers in the entryway pots
  • trimming bushes and crape myrtles in the front lawn
  • raking and general cleanup of 2 interior courtyards
  • removing spent plants and adding flowers to pots and seating areas
